What is NC High Schools Dance Competition?

NCHSDC is a competitive dance venue for dance programs in the NC Public Schools System. The adjudication process is designed to promote and reward the successful demonstration and understanding of dance skills and concepts obtained through the NC Essential Standards High School Dance Curriculum.

Who is hosting the competition?
The competition will be hosted by the dance programs (South Columbus HS, West Columbus HS and East Columbus HS) in the Columbus County Schools System.

Where will the competition be held?
The competition will revolve between the three Columbus County high schools from year to year. This year's hosting school will be announced soon. 

When will the competition take place?
January of 2017. Exact date TBA.
